LA BELLE VIE HOUSE

“The Beautiful Life” (La Belle Vie, translated from French) is what our clients imagined their dream house to be. An ample yard chock full of outdoor recreation coupled with seamless connection to indoor spaces was high on the priority list. A comfortable studio office was also a vital factor as the clients work from home and wanted to maintain that flexibility. The Butterfly, our client’s favorite creature symbolizing transcendence, found whimsical moments throughout the project, most impactfully behind the front façade’s glass stair hall window on a floor to ceiling wall mural welcoming guests and family alike. Ethereal, ordered, neutral tones inside to out promote symbiotic balance for all to enjoy. Life indeed becomes beautiful for our clients when they retreat home.
