The retreat was designed as homebase for a tight-knit, active family. Overlooking White Bear Lake, our clients seized the opportunity to purchase this legacy lot for their family for the near and long-term. Modern mediterranean emerged as the proper architectural tradition to draw from. Bold strokes of contrast exist inside and out. The welcoming terrace facing the lake promotes graceful flow from inside to outside spaces. One of the many cool innovative features in the project includes the motorized pergola offering automated protection while entertaining even during rain, sun, and even snow.
